Dr Charlotte Blau
Dr Charlotte Blau is a New Zealand-trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a special interest in helping patients achieve improvements in function, confidence and quality of life. She provides personalised care and is committed to ensuring every patient feels supported, informed and confident throughout their surgical journey.
Charlotte’s areas of particular interest include:
– Breast reconstruction, including microsurgical reconstruction
– Breast surgery and rejuvenation
– Skin cancer and melanoma surgery
– Reconstructive plastic surgery
– Scar revision
– Hand surgery
Charlotte graduated from the University of Dundee, Scotland, and completed her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training in New Zealand. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and completed further specialist training in microsurgical breast reconstruction at Canniesburn, Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Charlotte provides surgical care at Southern Cross Nelson Hospital for selected cases where appropriate.
