Visitors

We have an open visiting policy however if the person you are visiting has had their surgery that day, we do recommend a phone call to the hospital before visiting.  We would appreciate your efforts to ensure any children are supervised and consider other patients need for privacy and peace.

Car parking is available within the hospital grounds.

Smoking is not permitted within the Manuka Street Trust Hospital facility. Patients and visitors are requested to observe this requirement. Smoking outdoors is permitted some distance away from the buildings to ensure drifting smoke does not interfere with the comfort of patients.

Tea and coffee facilities are available for family and visitors in the TV lounge situated in the Main corridor. Please help yourself.

If you are arriving from outside the Nelson area and have family who need a place to stay, we would be only to happy to provide you with some recommendations of places close to our facility.  Please contact one of the reception staff.
