Registered Nurses – Theatre

About the Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse in the operating theatre, you will join an organisation that has made a significant investment into expanding its services.  Reporting to the Theatre Manager you will provide exceptional nursing care, the wider hospital and our surgical providers.  Your contribution to Manuka Street Hospital will be recognised and valued.  We are looking for several roles at various FTE above 0.5.  Please get in touch to discuss options.

About You

You are a compassionate, professional Registered Nurse with a current Nursing Council of NZ registration and a practicing certificate. You bring at least three years theatre experience, have good communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work in a team.  You will be highly organised with a passion for providing customer service and will be positive and innovative in your thinking, able to question current process.  Discretion and confidentiality will be core values, and you will have an ability to communicate with different groups of stakeholders.

Theatre Sterilisation Technician

About the Opportunity

As a Theatre Sterilisation Technician, you will join an organisation that has made a significant investment into expanding its services.  Reporting to the TSU Team Lead you will provide excellent support to the Theatre Sterilisation Unit ensuring the provision of effectively reprocessed reusable medical devices to the theatre team, as per the New Zealand Sterile Services Association Scope of Practice and AS 5369:2023.  Your contribution to Manuka Street Hospital will be recognised and valued.  This is a permanent part time role of 32 hours per week.

You will have good communication and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritise, and be able to work independently and in a team.  You will be highly organised with a passion for providing customer service and will be positive and innovative in your thinking, able to question current process.  Discretion and confidentiality will be core values, and you will have an ability to communicate with different groups of stakeholders.

Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Opportunity

As a Supply Chain Coordinator you will join an organisation that has made a significant investment into expanding its services.  Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will provide excellent support to the supply chain team, theatre, and the wider hospital.  This will involve ongoing support of the hospital supply chain and other assistance to our theatres. Your contribution to Manuka Street Hospital will be recognised and valued.  This is a permanent part time role of 20 hours per week.

About You

You are an energetic and motivated person. You will have good communication and problem solving skills, ability to prioritise, and be able to work independently and in a team. Competent computer skills are desirable.  You will be highly organised with a passion for providing customer service and will be positive and innovative in your thinking, able to question current process.  Discretion and confidentiality will be core values and you will have an ability to communicate with different groups of stakeholders.

Loans Coordinator

About the Opportunity

The purpose of this position is the effective coordination and management of incoming and outgoing loan sets and consignment implants/items from suppliers and other hospitals.

Reporting to the Theatre ACNM you will provide excellent support to the theatre team and the wider hospital.  Your contribution to Manuka Street Hospital will be recognised and valued.  This is a permanent part time role of 20 hours per week.

Kitchen Team Member 0.3 FTE x 2

About the Opportunity

Our patients consistently rate our meal service as one of the outstanding experiences of their stay with us. Reporting to the Catering and Services Manager you will aid with meal preparation, carrying out cleaning duties, ensuring efficient operation of the kitchen and provide support to the wider hospital and our surgical providers. This role is 0.3 FTE, working in a small friendly team.

About You

You will need to have relevant experience in a commercial kitchen/hospitality. You will have a good knowledge of special dietary requirements, food safety, and be flexible to cover leave requirements of the kitchen team. You will be highly organised with a passion for providing customer service. Discretion and confidentiality will be core values and you will have an ability to communicate with different groups of stakeholders.
